Thank you for taking your time and taking a
closer look at Zion Lutheran School. Our theme for this year is
based upon Hebrews 12:1-2,
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of
witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that
so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race
marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and
perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the
cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the
throne of God."
As a new school year begins, a new journey
begins too. As we start each new day, it is very comforting to know
that we are never alone. God is always near, watching and waiting.
He desires for us to stop, look and listen to Him! The first day
brings lots of excitement, bright shining faces and sometimes
nervous butterflies too! Thank you Lord, Jesus, for always for
walking with us and teaching us! Help us to lean on you as you
reveal your path, your plan, your blessings for us. Amen.
